Harm Reduction Truth

What’s the truth about harm reduction? You don’t have to take our word for it. Listen to what the harm reduction community thinks of as their truth.

We help to make lives better

Harm Reduction =
Respect & Dignity

Harm Reduction means equity for ALL

Created in 2017 in response to the opioid epidemic observed by medical professionals in the Emergency room as the community lost lives and lacked solutions. Research provided answers in countries that have tackled this issue and have changed the societal norms from isolation, criminalization, and judgment to understanding substance use as a healthcare issue and the meeting of basic needs is where the road to healing begins. From a lens of humanity, we can help to break down the stigma that keeps people divided and bring awareness to the truth that ALL humans deserve the opportunity to heal, to be fed, to be housed, to be supported, and to reach their concept of health.

OUR SERVICES

What we provide

We offer a variety of services for our clients because we realize there is much more to recovery than getting clean. These services include the following:

Confidential Help For Those In Need!

Great place that provides confidential help for those who use, whether its seeking advice on where to go to get clean or disposing of sharps so you can get sterile safe supplies for yourself. I encourage you to volunteer here, everyone is so friendly and genuinely cares about everyone that goes in there.

They Really Care!

The people here treat you with respect and not like theyโ€™re better than you. They helped me and some people I know so we wouldnโ€™t die when like no one else really cares. Thank you for all that you do.

So Refreshing!

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and never made me feel as if I was less than in regards to the nature of the services. Which is so refreshing as opposed to the standard reaction from society which is typically not pleasant. I appreciate their services.
