Not only will it have space for our own harm reduction services but also other programs and nonprofits who serve those experiencing homelessness. We will have showers, commercial washers and dryers, and other services to help them.

Additionally, the center is also expected to house a demo kitchen, where people can learn how to cook fresh food; a rooftop garden, so people can learn how to grow that food; an area with computers where people can apply for jobs or conduct other learning; and a small grocer, among other areas that can contribute to overall wellness.

According to Jude Solano, the center could impact Pueblo significantly and serve as a model for other cities around the country to follow. As quoted by Solano in The Pueblo Chieftain, “The whole premise of the building is to teach people how to live independently with quality resources.”
