Founded in 2017, the Southern Colorado Harm Reduction Association (SCHRA) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing access to evidence-based harm reduction practices.

Our mission is to offer compassionate support and services aimed at achieving healing, functionality, and wellness. The programs and services we offer have a significant impact on Pueblo, addressing the human services needs of our clients, their families, and the broader community. SCHRA is unique in its focus on assisting marginalized individuals and their families, promoting the best possible outcomes through harm reduction and inclusivity. We continue to expand our capacity and secure funding to serve over 2,000 registered clients. Our board and staff are members of this community, fully invested in being part of the solution for a better Pueblo.

Our experts provide a wide range of services including the Syringe Access Program (SAP), AcuDetox, CRAFT, Brain Synchronization Therapy, Naloxone Distribution and Training, Peer Coaching, Free HIV/HEP C Testing, Free Snacks, Clothing, Hygiene Supplies, Case Management, LEAF, and the WAGEES Program. We are committed to supporting your journey to recovery and wellness with compassion and expertise.
