How can I help you?

Wellness

AcuDetox:

Our AcuDetox service provides a holistic approach to recovery through ear acupuncture, which helps reduce cravings, alleviate withdrawal symptoms, and promote relaxation. This non-invasive therapy is part of our comprehensive wellness program aimed at supporting individuals on their journey to recovery.

LEAF (formerly Life Skills):

We offer a life-planning class inside the Pueblo County Jail, providing an opportunity for self-reflection and personal growth. Participants engage in writing prompts, meditation, and exercises that introduce techniques for self-inquiry and awareness of the energetic body. This class helps individuals understand the physical cues that influence their decision-making. Additionally, we provide case management support to ensure a smooth and supported transition back to the community.

Yoga in Facility:

We currently partner with Studio Share to offer 200 hr. Yoga Teacher Training program inside the Beacon at Skyline Correctional Facility. This certification process will help spread the transformative healing that yoga offers. Yoga teacher training is a great way to dive deep inward to learn about yourself and to learn to implement the lessons of yoga into daily life. The students will gain all the skills/ tools to facilitate yoga classes. At the end of the program, they are fully certified to teach yoga classes both in the facility as well as in studios when they are released.

Prevention

Syringe Service Program (SSP):

Our Syringe Service Program (SSP) is dedicated to reducing the harm associated with substance use. We provide clean syringes, safe disposal options, and access to critical resources. By promoting safer practices, we aim to prevent the spread of infectious diseases and support the health and well-being of our community members.

Overdose Prevention:

Our Overdose Prevention services are designed to save lives and educate the community. We offer Naloxone distribution and training, equipping individuals with the knowledge and tools to respond effectively to opioid overdoses. Through education and resources, we strive to reduce overdose fatalities and promote a safer environment for everyone.

Education / Employment

WAGEES:

Through collaboration with Community Partners and the Colorado Department of Corrections, we provide coordinated services, opportunities, and support to facilitate a smooth and successful transition back into society. Our goal is to empower participants with the education and employment skills needed for long-term success.
