Pronouns: HE/HIM
I am a licensed General Contractor in Pueblo County, Colorado, I hold an unlimited “A” license to contract to Build, New and Remodel and repair all Residential, Commercial and industrial projects. My construction background officially started in 1982 with my first drafting class in high school. Give or take, I have about 40 years of experience. (Not including the time, I spent on construction sites with my father and grandfather).
My greatest accomplishment to date has been the completion of the Charles and Helen Solano Bessemer Wellness Center both monetarily and in duration.
I have always been disciplined with work ethnics from my parents and grandparents and their lifelong commitments to their work in construction and determination. The Military fine-tuned my discipline, work ethnic and leadership abilities.
I strive to provide Quality work and customer satisfaction with every project I am involved with.
I was Born in Pueblo Colorado in 1967, my parents moved to Denver a year later for work and I was raised in Denver while maintaining strong roots in Pueblo with grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins still residing in Pueblo. Pueblo has always been home in my heart, I spent many summers growing up in pueblo being bounced from family member to family member while on summer vacation.
I Attended Denver Public Schools and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1986, I worked for the National Park Service in
Lakewood, Co as an Engineering Draftsman for two years and then as a draftsman for B.W.A. Architects in Denver for one year all while attending High School. In December 1986 I enlisted in the US Navy, not knowing what I was getting myself into. My enlistment was 6 years of service to my country, my job title was a “Boiler Technician”. I operated, maintained and repaired 600 PSI and 1200 PSI Boilers and all associated equipment in the ship’s firerooms and engine rooms. While supervising multiple firerooms and personnel. My duty stations included Great Lakes, Illinois (boot camp and “A” school), USS Coral Sea CV-43, USS Wisconsin BB-64, USS Thomas C. Hart FF-1092 and Navel Base San Diego 32nd St. (“C” School advanced steam propulsion maintenance and supervisor training).
Upon returning from the US Navy, I worked for the US Postal service fine tuning my customer relations skills for 8 years in Centennial, Co.
In 2000 With 2 years left to take advantage of my G.I. bill I attended Westwood School of Technology to attain my associate’s degree in HVAC/R. I have completed other certifications for stationary power plant operations, lead abatement and removal and safe practices and Various Union sanctified certifications from the Carpenters Union Local 555.
When time permits, I enjoy everything the outdoors has to provide in Colorado, all hunting activities, fishing, camping and hiking. Sporting events include the Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies and Colorado Avalanche. I would rather attend a live sporting event than watch it on T.V.
Married with 6 children and 13 grandchildren I hope to leave behind a legacy that continues to grow and provide honest hardworking and ethnical individuals. I enjoy waking up every day and looking forward to the days work, “it’s never a day that I have to do something, but a day that I want to do something”. And that makes what I do very enjoyable. Two mottos that I try to live by are:
“Work Hard Play Hard” and “Quality Work Starts Here”!
Traveling the world and visiting many third world countries and my involvement in military combat has made me appreciate the great country we live in. “Every day I ask myself what I can do differently to make a difference in the lives that are in our communities and change the future of those less fortunate”
